Seven years ago, BetterBuilding started as an energy modelling platform. Today, it's grown into something broader: a unified platform for energy, daylight, carbon, and moisture modelling. And as of now, we're officially available in the United States.

For our US launch, we've chosen to focus on ASHRAE Appendix G 2019.

Is it perfect? No. Does it have its share of quirks and frustrations? If you've ever worked through an Appendix G submission, you already know the answer to that. But that's precisely why we decided to tackle it head-on. The compliance process is notoriously labour-intensive (a diplomatic way of saying "tedious"), and our core strength, parallel compliance automation, is built to address exactly that kind of problem.

Over the coming months, we'll be expanding our Appendix G 2019 workflows, adding support for the 2022 version, and developing dedicated pathways for the prescriptive and energy cost budget methods. There's a lot on the roadmap. We're already working on live projects though, and we can see where this is heading.
